VMT Task 1 Summary

As the manager, I take the opportunity of introducing a new product that has been added to the company’s offerings. This is a weight loss supplement known as “Weight Loss Optimizer.” It is a product that was being produced by the company that was recently acquired. Now, the company is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing and coordinating various aspects that are associated with the product’s launch.

Important points that can be gathered about the product include that it is not something new. The product was being manufactured by another company that has been purchased. This means that there are people out there that already know of its existence. This makes the marketing prospects quite easy since it will not take a lot to convince consumers.

Another relevant point is that the product has been proved to be successful based on a previous research study. Of the 100 participants involved in the research, 90% indicated that the product had resulted in weight loss. This is something that consumers want to hear when they are interacting with such a product. A positive response coming from people that have already used the product before is likely to play an influential part in convincing potential consumers of how the product is good.

The fact that the success of the product relies on Pills Inc has also come out as an important point. Pills Inc. is the external business partner that will be involved with manufacturing Weight Loss Optimizer’s casing. There is a need to keep close relations with such a manufacturer in order to ensure that whatever they are manufacturing is in line with the required standards.
