Hello everyone,

I decided to share my education reflection. I have enjoyed every minute of study here in ECPI. I am a recent RN graduate from ECPI in Newport News. I can precisely say that the ECPI online library has been a great help throughout my entire studies here. I have also need able to learn many essential aspects from peers’ discussions that are helping me in my career currently. From my past studies and as I proceed with my studies, I have come to realize that I can preciously research more on the healthcare industry and be able to help many in society. I have come to believe that I can minimize most of the health care issues such as patient safety by putting into practice what I have and individually researched during my entire study.

I am currently working at Riverside Hospital where I have come to realize that what has been learning and what am currently learning is much helpful in my career. For instance, the knowledge about the care that I learned from human growth and development class has enabled me to improve the quality of care that I offer to the patients. Additionally, I have been able to utilize the knowledge and skills I gained from the health information systems class to increase patient information privacy within my area of service.

It has always been a challenge for me to balance my education and job. However, after I created a study area in my house and started using the Mobile App to check for class updates as well as reading peers discussions, I have been able to find easy to both undertake my studies as I take my job. Additionally, my family has been more supportive.

Being able to undertake all class assignments without lateness is one of the accomplishments that I can precisely outline. My end goal is to become a family nurse practitioner. I am convinced that all that I have learned in class, as well as the experiences from interaction with my peers, will help increase my level of care to patients.

It is fantastic to hear that you learned how to manage your time in regards to getting your assignments on time. It has been one of my most significant challenges to balance between work and school making me sacrifice a lot. A lot of my school time has always been occupied by doing research since most of the topics have been encountering have been new to me. Indeed education has been so much helpful to us. Comparing to how I used to undertake my activities before, I can also comfortably say that education has me more self-disciplined.  I agree with you remaining focus to the end goal may be much helpful in education life in order one to be successful.
