With the help of the student governing body of the institution, we will consult the institution’s administration to provide both the human and financial capital to help host the cricket championship event in the institution. We will also inform the administration to invite other institutions which will be willing and ready to take part in the championship. The cricket championship event will act as a platform for bringing both students and lecturers of different institutions together, to celebrate and embrace inclusivity and peaceful co-existence. The event will take place at the school football pitch and is expected to bring together teams of over fifteen different schools. The championship will take place from 4th February 2019 until the end of August.
The Cricket Champion event will have four groups with each group composed of four different institutions. At the semi-final round, two matches will be held between four different teams. Two teams that emerge victorious in this round will then clash at the final for a cup and prize money. Both the second and the third team will also be awarded some gifts at the end of the tournament. In order to promote inclusivity and participation of the public, the institution will be open to the public who will join the students to give moral support to the players.
