Scholarly Activity

In today’s changing environment, it becomes crucial for nurses to get involved with their patients and further their educational learning. Dedication for the nurses is essential as it increases the nursing skills that eventually improve the quality of the healthcare that they provide as well as enhancing the credibility of the health care sector as well. There are several ways of increasing the knowledge of the nurses. One of them is increasing the medical knowledge that is associated with other activities and goals such as attending seminars and conferences. This is the issue that I was involved in.The scholarly activity that I  attended an actively participated in was the seminar that addressed the people on how to effectively use evidence-based projects to solve the problems in an institution. The target market for this activity was the nurses and other management people in charge of general health. There are several benefits of this activity (Monagle, Lasater, Stoyles, and Dieckmann, 2018). One of them is that I got the chance to meet the nurses and other people whom they are not used to and those who are also part of the larger project in nursing. By the use of these methods, the nurses can connect with other nurses from around the globe and those who are in the country dealing with the same problems that they are having. Additionally, they get the chance to get an insight of what the other health care systems involved and allows them to familiarise themselves with the expectations from the clients and how to do their best to deliver the services.

In the seminar, several problems were addressed.  One of them is the constant problem of nurses shortage and how to address them .one of the ways that it was addressed in was through the proposal for training. This participation enabled the nurses the opportunity to sharpen their necessary skills to improve and enhance the services that are delivered. One of the critical issues that I believed in was that after attending this workshop, it would open numerous other opportunities for me and I will be able to form networks with my failure access from other fields. I knew that I would see different approaches and methods that are presented in the seminar. These cases would also allow me to enhance the relationship that I have with them. Additionally, several aspects and patients concern healthcare services especially those that deal with nurse shortage and how to solve these problems. These questions were well addressed and appropriately handled by the experts who have track records that can be proven and have dealt with his problems numerous times (Coyne, Kennedy, Self, and Bullock, 2018). It was, therefore, easier to get the opinions of those who have been in the field for a longer time and those who have experiences with dealing with the problems that prove to be a challenge to even the senior management.

Numerous solutions were suggested in this seminar. The main reason for going t this seminar is to find the solutions for these issues that were raised. One of the ideas that I have maintained is the belief in learning and advancing in education through training. Educational and training programs show how to solve problems that they have been presented within the nursing environment in cutting the lack of quality health service provision.

Through participating in this seminar, I had a massive opportunity. By attending the seminar, I was able to make myself familiar with some of the technologies used in training and several methods that service providers can be made more comfortable within the nursing set up (Wojnar, and  Whelan, 2017).

The opportunities that should be measured are based on the problem identified. The objective of the program was met. These include telemedicine and database access that are important in the medical sector. The seminar also held me in advancing my career so that I can maintain my options for the future. The main aim of every professional is to get additional revenues and reach their potential in terms of skills and wealth. Through the skills that I acquired from the seminar, I learned that technology could allow me also to educate others and offer various courses on the topic. I learned some teaching skills that were presented by the management professionals who are giving the lessons in the seminar.

 

There are numerous program competencies that I gained while attending this seminar. Some of the most common ones include the nursing informatics technology that has massive potential. I also learned about the competency that is created with the most commonly used education strategies. It was essential to learn about mitigation processes and how to eliminate errors within the nursing profession (Smeltzer et al., 2016). Implementing evidence-based practice and learning the knowledge acquired in seminars is one of the ideas that can be used in decision making. This can be done excellently if information technology is well placed. In addition to this, people have to be disciplined to work with others as there is a massive achievement that can be realized when teams are collaborating. Communication and integration and she were that services that are offered within the hospital are of the highest quality and they are approved by the patients.
