Customer knowledge is the combination of experience value and insight information which is needed created and absorbed during the transaction and exchange between customers and enterprise. There are several ways of getting information from customers. One way is by conducting customer interviews. This ensures connection with the customers and it’s easier to get information from them as it is done one on one. It can be with a group of customers or with an individual customer. Another source is the customer survey. Through customer survey it is possible to obtain information about customer satisfaction levels with existing products or services. It makes it possible to assess how satisfied your customers are and therefore possible to know if there is med for any improvements to be done on the products or services provided. Trade research organization are another source of customer knowledge. It is the process of gathering analyzing and interpreting information about past present and potential customers for the product or service. Accurate and thorough information is the foundation of all successful business as it provides a wealth of information about prospective and existing customers and the industry in general(Entrepreneur Small Business Encyclopedia,2019). This allows business owner to determine the feasibility of a business before committing substantial resources to the venture.
