6.0 Reflection

6.1 Team Members

While working on the project of opening a new private school,our group collaborated and ensured that the entire process was a success. Our group consists of three members. Despite the small number, we shared responsibilities and charted a way forward in meeting several times a week. Each of us ensured that we met on time since we were supposed to cover a lot regarding the engineering project to complete on time.

6.2 Systems Engineering Concepts

As we were working on the project, I found out that the systems engineering concepts that we were taught class were highly applicable in practice. This is because the knowledge obtained shows how various units in a system work together to ensure the effective functioning of the entire system.

6.3 Professional Engineering Practice

In the project, we had to beat deadlines and utilize the existing resources to meet particular outcomes. As a result, we utilizedwork breakdown schedules and charts which ensured that we completed each stage of the project on time and effectively. Therefore, through the course, we learned about these concepts and they have paid off in giving us what it takes to complete the project, and we believe this will also be the case in future endeavors.

6.4 Additional Topics

Finally, the course has been helpful to our group, and we think that it is better if we explore more lessons regarding the same. I acknowledge that we had a smooth time in our project based on how we came up with the idea of a private school system and perfectly executed it. However, we learned that we needed to explore;

1. Systems and functions.
2. Time management since it is a crucial factor of every project.
3. Total Project Management (TPM).
