The purpose of this memo is to inform you of the security measures that will start on Monday 11^th January and will last until the 16^th of March. If there will be any changes you will be notified with immediate effect.

There are several security threats to the City of Chicago and in recent times, we have received information that this building might be a target for terrorist attacks. Due to public safety concerns, we have set this strict regulation. The regulations are in relations to the FBI requirements on safety and would have to follow the following duties.

Business hour duties

• Ensure that each accessing the building should have a work ID
• The only individual with an appointment or verified customers should be admitted into the building
• Every individual should go through metal detectors at the entrance
• Check through the personal belonging that every individual carry while entering the building

Night duties

• All the security agents should ensure that they follow the following regulations
• No visitors should access the building after 1900 hours till the opening hours of the next day
• Any employees remaining in the building should leave at 2300hours till the next days working hours
• The guard should stay at the front do of the building
• The other guards should perform occasional checks around the building

The new measures might result in inconveniences in the building, but it is essential that everyone remains respectful and professional.

This memo is to inform you of the changes that the new security team is supposed to take starting from Monday, February 11, 2019. The regulations are expected to run for about one month. In the recent past, the city of Chicago has been under the threats of terrorism, and this is a concern for us. We are not saying that our building is a target, but it is vital that we realize that we need to alert to the possibility of these threats.

In regards to these changes, you will thus expect the following changes while entering the building. The following inspection would be carried out

• You will be supposed to pass through the metal detectors any time you are accessing the structure
• You will have your belonging subjected to scrutiny any time you access and leave the building
• You will be expected to produce your work budge any time that you obtain the premise
• If you are still in the building by 2300, then you will be supposed to leave the building until the next day immediately

We are aware of how these cases might cause so much in convincing while accessing the structure but we request for your understanding and indulgence.

Our request is for you to understand that these changes are all in regards to the enhancement of the security of every individual in the building. In Johnson & McKinney we are concerned about the quality of services what were offer to our customer. Since we are aware of the tight schedule that each of you as we expect that our firm would still provide better services moving forward.

We are quite alive of the role that we have ensuring that you enjoy the services from our firm and we shall still work hard to maintain the same function over the years. In regards to the various security threats that the city has experienced over the past few weeks, we have resolved to improve our security measure.

In regards to improving the security of you as our customers and all those that use our company, we have instituted several security measures that might be inconveniencing. The rules would be carried out for about a month.

Among the measures taken

You would be required to go through metal detectors and would also require providing clearance before accessing the building. To ensure that we make the security checks quite easy and less structure the following are the things one would expect before obtaining the building.

• Ensure that you do not carry anything that might be dangerous into the building
• Ensure that you arise 15 min before time to avoid any inconveniences
• Ensure that you secure the required paperwork before accessing the structure
