There are various risk factors which may affect the success of my SA project. These factors have different weights depending on their importance in the project. They include resources and team, which are essential for the execution of the activities of the plan.  Another risk factor is communication because the project will involve different groups of people aiming at a similar objective. Stakeholders may also influence the success of the project depending on whether they support the plan or not.  Decisions and issue resolution is another risk factor in my project. All the executors of the project should be involved in making decisions regarding the plan. The scope of the project may also affect its success. The activities to be executed during the implementation of the plan determine if the project will succeed or not.

To assess the degree of risk, its value in the linear scale and weight should be determined. The product of the score and weight shows the chances of the risk factor affecting the success of the project. For the risk factors identified above, resources and team have a score of 4 and a weight of 4; hence the product is 120. Stakeholders have a score of 3 and weight of 25; therefore the product is 75. On the other hand, the scope has a score of 2 and a weight of 20, where the total is 40. Communication has a score of 1 and a weight of 15, and the product of 15. Decision and issue resolution have a score of 2 and a weight of 10, with a total of 20. The product of the weight and score of the risk factors shows the priority of the factors which should be included in the plan.

To address the risk factors identified above, they should be included in the planning of the project. Ways of dealing with these factors should be determined from the project is implemented. During the plan, the scope of the project should be outlined. Additionally, the resources required, as well as the team and stakeholders should be identified and included in the planning. Before implementing the plan, methods of communication and issue resolution to be used during the project should be established. This will help to ensure that all the identified risk factors are dealt with to ensure that they do not affect the success of the project.
