	1pm	Kuaishou	Internet	Short video platforms	45 minutes	As we were having our lunch, we started checking on the latest movies as we were planning for a movie date with friends. Watching movie trailers is the best way to select a movie.	Catching up with friends helps in strengthening our bond.
	4 pm	A Contract with God	Comic	Novel	1 hour	Reading the novel has always been part of my daily schedule to ensure I complete the book before the end of the semester.	Reading makes me feel emotionally satisfied and relieved.
	6 pm	Toudou Youku	Social media	Internet	30 minutes	As we headed home with friends from school, we always share our own favorite songs and stream them online. This helps in engaging and sharing ideas which develop into discussions.	Expressing different ideas with friends helps in gaining personal confidence. Likewise, through music, we can understand and relate to one another.
March 11 Mon	6 am	A Contract with God	Comic	Novel	30 minutes	After waking up and before getting out of the bed, I read the novel to keep up with my reading schedule.	The novel motivates me through the various scenes and ideas presented all through.
	1 pm	BBC Online streaming	Streaming news	Internet, Laptop	30 minutes	While having our lunch we friends, we at time stream for news from the BBC to keep up with the trends especially when we are having a hot trending discussion.	Streaming news clears the doubts presented while discussing the topic trending in the national or international media.
	3 pm	Messenger	Social media	Mobile Phone	20 minutes	Responding to messages from friends and family.	Having a strong bond with friends involves great communication skills.
	8 pm	WeChat Tencent QQ Sina Weibo Baidu Tieba	Social media	Mobile phone	4 hours (on and off)	After a day with trending topics in the media, we continue our discussion on the social media groups with friends.	Participating in discussion with friends makes it more interesting to listen and comprehend their different ideas. This also improves our communication skills.
March 12 Tue	8 am	Baidu Tieba	Social media	Internet	10 minutes	On reaching school, I heard there had been a new list of basketball teams participating in the schools’ league.	Curiosity was all over my body being a basketball fan. I had to search the fixtures to clear the anxiety.
	1 pm	Sina Weibo Baidu Tieba Toudou Youku	Social media	Internet, laptop, Mobile phone	1 hour	Gathering more details about the basketball tournaments.	This was essential due to the prevalent discussion among friends as well as clearing our doubts.
	6 pm	WeChat Snap Chat	Social media	Internet	30 minutes	After arriving home from school, I rested while checking on messages from friends and family as well as sharing photos.	Social platforms enhance the sharing of images with friends and family thus being an entrainment instrument.
	9 pm	A Contract with God	Comic	Novel	45 minutes	Before retiring to bed, I read the novel to keep up with my usual reading timetable.	The novel is a source of my inspiration.
March 17^th Sat	8am	Messenger WeChat	Social media	Mobile phone	20 minutes	After analyzing the fixtures, I had to ask my friends if they were aware of the news.	Like always alerting friends of breaking news is always our priority in the group.
	10 am	WeChat, Sina Weibo Tencent QQ	Social media	Mobile phone	30 minutes	Also, before heading to prepare for school, I check on my phone for social updates, news and trending subjects. I also respond to messages sent while asleep by friends.	Responding to messages for effectiveness in communication while checking for social updates to keep up with the trending ideologies.
	1 pm	A Contract with God	Comic	Novel	30 minutes	While taking lunch, I take time to continue reading the novel.	All day I was feeling bored and thus reading the book brought back my jovial moods.
