Different fields have been able to impact study management in several ways. One of these fields is psychology. It is an essential category in control of resources as it involves a lot of communication. The main areas of psychology that affect the management are cognitive and social psychology. Social psychology helps to understand the behaviors of each member in the family or group. It emphasizes their attitudes, technical experience, skills, influences, leadership, and communication. Cognitive psychology focuses on the intelligence of individuals. It establishes how they conduct their decision making.

As technology advances in the modernworld, its impacts on management styles have increased. For instance, it has led to the development of many good management approaches. In the 20th century, the introduction of communication devices such as computers made management easy and straightforward. Thesedevices, such as iPhones, help organize the contacts; hence making it easier to communicate with a large number of members at once. In the 20th century, one would have to walk or cover long distances to know more about their loved ones. However, this has changed in the 21st century, and it can be done through computers.

According to this chapter, positive feedback occurs when explaining the importance of a change and which actions to take to achieve it. Negative feedback, on the other hand, describes the steps that an individual has to make to maintain the current state. This indicates that for individuals to attain excellent and improved results, theymust change something. If they do not, they have to accept the secondary outcomes. Positive feedback entails putting in more effort to reach a positive change. Negative feedback is to maintain the behavior to retain the results.

According to Martin Seligman, it is vital for a person to be optimistic to achieve greater things in life. Hopeful individuals believe in themselves, and this makes them trust that they can undertake anything in their lives regardless of the setbacks associated with it. This is the beginning of accomplishing something. These individuals do not think of quitting after a few failures and will always find opportunities to better themselves. This is the reason behind Martin Seligman’s explanation that for a successful life, one must have optimism.

Poet Robert Frost wrote, “Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in.” Does that family value still hold? Why would a grown person decide it is time to move back home?

According to the work of Robert Frost, I believe that family has strong values and is a symbol of unity among its members. Many people view their family and home as the last place that gives them hope when things do not run well in their lives. They may suffer due to consequences of their choices and, therefore, are forced to move back home for mental and emotional support. Home helps individuals to regain their stability either financially, emotionally or mentally. Children may also be forced to come back to their homes to take care of their aging guardians by supporting them in diverse ways.
