Third world countries have lagged in development due to many reasons or factors, one of the reasons they lag is poor education or lack of education. Mostly education is available but accessing or obtaining it is the primary challenge.
One of the obstacles is hunger, children cannot go to school on an empty stomach and if they do they will not get anything in class. In some developing countries, children will go even for two days without eating, just drinking water and eating wild fruits which may be poisonous — making them disadvantaged compared to their counterparts in developed nations.
Another obstacle is War, in most developing countries inter-clan; inter tribes and sometimes war caused by politicians and religion. In war zones, teachers and pupils find it had to go to school for they fear for their lives. Other factors include coming from a minority group of people, deeply rooted gender inequality believes, physically challenged and lack of enough or no classrooms at all.
They said that education is the key to success, but in developing countries education is the key not only to success but to everything. One of the reasons it should be a priority is to end the tribal war, to curb corruption, end gender inequality, proper leadership and have decent and civilized human beings. Going to school and learning together will help the students understand that there is no much difference between them although one is from tribe A and the other one is from tribe C.
Apart from building schools, those in leadership can do a lot more. They are creating awareness in the rural areas on the advantages of education and why parents should take their kids to school — getting resources for schools such as books and funds to make the kids comfortable while in school (such as food). Making sure that kids with special needs access schools that will cater to their needs such as schools for the blind.
