Joy of Jelly

This proposal outlines the content strategy and tactics for the “Joy of Jelly”. This campaign will focus on creating more awareness and engagement on shower jellies; products manufactured Lush company. The product has been doing well, but there is a need of creating awareness to the people that are not yet familiar with the product, and remind those already having knowledge of the product why they should continue purchasing the products. It will include a series of posts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Target Audience

The target audience for this campaign is women. Our research shows that women are easily attracted to products that bring about some form of fun and excitement. Products coming in different shapes, sizes, color and scent will interest women since there is a variety to choose from. Women also get interested with the story behind the product development. This encompasses how a product is developed from the earliest stage.

Channel Strategy

The campaign will use four channels; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Facebook is a favorable channel for enhancing engagement with the audience. It makes it possible to post long and detailed posts that help to put in more description to help the audience understand better. The audience can also ask questions and get their feedback instantly through the comments section on the posts. Instagram and Pinterest, on the other hand, have a favorable appeal when it comes to the use of pictures. Pictures coupled with small descriptions tend to capture the attention of the audience and makes them want to know more. Twitter on its part has a viral ability that can be leveraged by the company to the maximum. This is made even easier by the creation of hashtags that can easily go viral.

#jellybath- Gives the sense of the product and the activity involved.

#featuremylush- Gives the feeling that consumers can get something customized to their own liking.

Performance Metrics

Awareness: Measuring the awareness created by the campaign will use metrics like reach, volume, exposure and amplification. This shows how far the message is spreading.

Engagement: Metrics that revolve around comments, retweets, participants and replies.

Driving traffic: When the goal is to drive traffic to the website, it will be prudent to track URL shares, clicks and conversions. These are people moving through social media to external sites.
