International relations between the United States and the global community is filled with much uncertainty as in the last couple of years; Trump has made decisions that have created hostility. Aside from making new alliances, China has increased its influence in global organizations including the United Nations. Currently, China is ranked as the second largest funder of the United Nations’ peacekeeping budget. At the World Economic Forum, Xi presented himself as the globalization ambassador. Also, China’s alliance with Russia is expected to redefine the dynamics of the global order.

Brexit is another international relations issue that is yet to be resolved as the Brexit vote creates much uncertainty for the European Union and the United Kingdom. Brexit is expected to create shifts in European economies. Furthermore, it is anticipated to contribute significantly to the collapse of the European Union. There are numerous attempts to end Brexit as the predicted risks are perceived to be higher than its benefits. Nonetheless, there is yet to be a particular strategy to address Brexit and limit the dangers it presents.
