Over the years, multiple questions arise about the meaning of proof. What are those things that count as evidence? In the paper, I will make a distinction of Subjective/intuitive evidence, objective/historical evidence and scientific evidence as to their importance in the religious faith. Subjective/intuitive evidence is a kind of proof that involves personal perspectives, feeling and opinions when making a specific decision. This kind of evidence removes reasonable doubt and give assurance that builds faith (Ellul, 2012). Through making use of all our commands powers, we understand that evidence adds more weight on one side leaving the other one weightless. It helps in removing doubt that may be found within a religious realm. It is essential because it helps in building faith through opening the door of truth. For example, when there is enough evidence in the court land, the possibility of doubt is wholly removed. This is precisely what happens in the case of religious beliefs. When a shred of evidence concerning a particular belief is appropriately presented, people tend to believe in that issue beyond the possibility of doubt. Subjective evidence also helps in making truth plausible and plain. There is always convergence when considering what the prophets are saying, but through the provision of evidence, an individual can increase the faith of believing of these prophets. Many scholars have researched more to know about the religious realm. From the discussions created, many insights converge on the same conclusion. People are naturally stubborn, only a few of them can believe in something without any evidence. A large number of individuals usually need inducements, clues, and indications to think in certain religious faiths. This is the reason why Alma told the less fortunate that; blessed are those individuals who believe in God without being compelled to do so. However, a lot of people are usually obliged to understand more through ancient beliefs.

Scientific evidence is a theory or hypothesis tested objectively by individuals in an experiment. It helps in articulating knowledge and defending against misinterpretation and error. Through the miracles performed by prophets, people tend to believe and respect the gospel of Jesus Christ. Evidence impels individuals to ask the ultimate questions raised by that evidence.
