Nairobi is Kenya’s most significant and capital city. It is the second largest town in East Africa after Dare salaam, Tanzania. The name originates from aMaasai phrase, EnkareNairobi which means cold water. The city islocated within the Great Nairobi Metropolitan Region along River Nairobi. Nairobi has a population of 3.36 million people acceding to recent census while its metropolitan region has a population of 6.5 million individuals. It popular known as the Green City in the presences of the sun. Nairobi city was founded in 1899 after the British invasion of East Africa.  Nairobi city has been a center for economic, cultural and political activities of East Africa with an excellent history that surrounds its jurisdictions. The city is adversely known for hosting several famous attractions which are based on the Kenyan culture and its boundaries. The major attractions that are found in Nairobi include the Nairobi National Park, DavidSheldrick Wildlife Trust, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, Nairobi National Museum, Bomas of Kenya and Kazuri Beads Factory Tour among others (Smart, 2018). Since the end of the colonial era, Nairobi has been regarded as a site of world heritage by UNESCO.

Nairobi city is made up of several primary museums as well as numerous theatres, cinemas, galleries, monuments, castles among others which reveal its essential history. Similarly, Nairobi has several modern means of transport such as air, railway and super roads which makes means of transportation of the area splendid. Nairobi also acts as a center of education, research, and innovation which numerous public and private learning institutions which includes one of the oldest universities in East Africa, The University of Nairobi. As early, as the 1970s after attaining her independence, Nairobi celebrated dominance as a popular tourist destination in East Africa (Njiraini et al., 2015). Nairobi is ranked the second visited the town in Kenya after Mombasa.
