Etihad Airways is regarded as the leading airline service provider in the world. It is based in the United Arab Emirates and has been in operation since July 2003. Most of the company’s operations are based in the Indian subcontinent, South East Asia, and the Middle East. The company makes over 1000 flights weekly in all the destinations in Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. It is considered as the third largest airline in the Middle East and the second largest in the United Arab Emirates.

The company’s mission is to maximize its cargo profitability in the company through implementation of efficient business processes for optimum yield. Etihad Airways mainly deal with the international transportation of people and goods. The airline has a fleet of planes that has enabled smooth transportation of people and goods in various destinations all over the world.  The aviation sector of the airline has three principal products offered to their customers and includes; first class, business class or the economy class. Besides, the organization also has a tourism sector that operates through Etihad Holidays. Etihad Crystal Cargo deals with cargo transport and logistics.

Etihad Airways has experienced significant developments in the recent years. For instance, on 11th may 2015, the company announced a legacy partnership with Monumental Sports and Entertainment (MSE).  This partnership was an indication of the company’s commitment to the Washington market. The airline also recently announced its intentions of collaborating with Maharashtra government for economic development.
