Saint Augustine was a philosopher whose philosophy inspired the doctrine of Christianity with neoplatism.
His contributions include developing the Christian principles of original sin, divine, and grace. He also developed ideas which the Catholic churches and Protestant churches apply in their theological aspects. Augustine alsoproved the existence of God through eternal truths and argued that man comprehends universal truths above his mentality; thus there is the existence of an external God to explain the facts.
