The Internet location I chose for this discussion is YouTube.com. One can access this website by using the following URL: https://www.youtube.com/. Internet users can upload digital media easy by using features such as Feather. This feature allows one to load videos faster by excluding things like collapsible comments, expandable share boxes, and other settings. Also, the availability of 360-degree video features allows the audience to see activities taking place at a particular location (DeRuyter, 2009). The subscription notification feature let the audience know when content creators have uploaded new videos. Additionally, according to DeRuyter (2009), the caption and subtitle feature offer additional layer to the video for people who cannot follow the content. Lastly, the video editor feature is a built-in feature that allows one to add special effects to the video without using advanced and time-consuming applications.

One might experience challenges when uploading the video due to the different file type and size, heavy upload traffic and slow internet connection. Second, one can experience unexpected error due to duplicate upload. YouTube could prove useful in the music industry. One of the largest sectors of YouTube content is the music videos. Artists use the YouTube platform to gain popularity and expose their talent by uploading their music. The number of views the artist receives portray his/her popularity and the strength of the content.
