Every organization has a specific culture that makes it be identified in the public. The culture of a company is set by its leadership and its ability to stick to its mission as a way of achieving its visions. As a leader, there are basic features that defines how one natures a culture and ensure that the organization performs to the required standards.  Leadership involves the ability to make decision and come up with a strategy that is convincing and to the point. A description of the leadership structure of the organization reveals that is had a culture where decisions were made by the president. It was the responsibility of the vice presidents or heads of each department to give a suggestion t to the president then the president makes the final decision. It had a culture of centralized form of decision making where all the decisions were from the op most office of the organization. This culture was however not effective since it snatched   the vice president to make decisions concerning their areas of specialization.  It also indicates that there was no leadership in them since the creativity and their responsibility were based on   decision from one individual in the organization.

Such culture does not allow for creativity and effectiveness. It also promotes inefficiencies in decision-making and delay he operations of the organization.  The time spent in consultation and the amount of decision that the head has to make makes it exhausting to the president. It is one of the factors that contribute to the inefficiencies and inability of the organization to promote creativity.  since it is the role of the  leader  of an organization to set culture of the organization, the act of the  first lewder of the health care organization to restrict  the other l middle level leaders  become  the major creation of that culture of lack of power to make decision  based on their expertise. This type of culture may be effective since it gives the leader the full power over the rest   in the company and hence promote full control.

The coming of Mr Bruce in the organization plays as a game changer in the culture of the organization.    The fact that every vice president consulted him for every decision that were to be taken made him   so exhausted and he   could not take it anymore.  Upon attending the meeting, all decisions were headed toward him, a factor which made him understand the current culture of the organization that he was deemed to change. The culture he introduced is giving various departments a freedom to make their own decision without having to consult him. It is a decentralized form of leadership and a culture that puts every person in the organization responsible for the decision he or she makes to the firm. This kind of culture promotes leadership and empowers each employees and each department with a chance to be creative without having to suggest decision to the president of the organization. It is a form of cultural change that is brought about by new leadership.

There are several factors that Mr. Bruce could change in the organization. The first one is the force of the company that he had succeeded to change is the motto that states it does not happen without his signature.  This culture aimed at giving the leader all the credit and not empowering the rest. Upon changing this motto, the face presidents will be in positions of developing their leadership skills through working independently. It may lead to a further effectiveness in the company and may motivate the rest of the organization members to employ their best effort in achieving the objective of the HCO.

The second factor or force that the new leadership under Mr. Bruce is the president is the time spent in decision making in the company. The change in the decision making structure that flows from lower level to a higher level management is one that is critical for a batter management. The former leadership of the organization was based on the top management making decision and the effect flow down to the lower level. Such l culture may not be effective since it may not take concerns of individual departments with special needs.  Introducing new structure is effective and may reduce time spent in the decision making.

In conclusion the culture of a n organization is influenced by the principles that a leader believes in. in this case, there  the Atlantic Healthcare organization demonstrate the two type of leadership that has an influence on the culture of the organization.   The two distinct cultures of dictatorship and t democratic leadership had different result. These results are based on the missions of the organization. Therefore a change of culture requires a change of leadership as demonstrated in the case study of Atlantic healthcare organization.
