INTRODUCTION
In this task, you will reflect on key concepts presented throughout your degree program: quality and safety,
evidence-based practice, applied leadership, and community and population health. You will create an eportfolio
detailing your reflection on these concepts.
REQUIREMENTS
Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of a submission can be
directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. Use the report provided when
submitting your task as a guide.
Professional Communications is a required aspect to pass this task. Completion of a spell check and grammar
check prior to submitting your final work is strongly recommended.
You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that
will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric
aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.
Complete an e-portfolio by doing the following:

B. For each of the areas of nursing you discussed in part A, complete the following within your e-portfolio:
1. Discuss a nurse theorist that has influenced your thoughts on each area of nursing from part A (quality
and safety, evidence-based practice, leadership, and community and population health).
2. Explain strategies of self-awareness and self-care to support your growth in each area of nursing from
part A (quality and safety, evidence-based practice, leadership, and community and population health).
Note: You may include experiences from your life that influenced your decision to become a nurse (e.g.
What does the experience mean? Why is the experience important? How will you integrate what you
learned from that experience into your practice?)
C. Submit your e-portfolio in APA style and format, including in-text citations and references.
