Black Death was the most significantdemographic disaster that had ever affected Europe. It began from Italy in 1347 through aclockwise movement in the entire continent of Europe. It claimed the lives of seventeen and twenty million people. The cause of the epidemic has forever remained a controversy, and it was deadlier than any other disease that has ever been seen in this world (Shahar, 2003).  Theeffect of the disease is quite observable since it had social, economic and political implications. This discussion, therefore, focuses on the economic and cultural impact of the Black Death on the lives of Medieval Europe.

Black Death was a part of a significant change in medieval Europe. A focus on the social impact reveals that it caused a large part of Europe to be dilution with the Catholic Church. The fact that the church could not protect them from dark and the unknown force that was killing the population made them have no hopes for thechurch. It failed to explain their use. This, therefore, made many individuals trio loss hope in religion and started to focus on science as a method of solving the problem of man.

Further analysis of the impact of the Black Death reveals that there was a collapse ofthe socioeconomic system of federalism due to the massive decrease in the population. The death claimed a total of 40 percent of the population. It led to the increased demand for labor due to the shortage of laborers and there for it attractedhigh labor wages in the region. It made the laborers less dependent on theirlords andcreated an economic system of capitalism.

One of the areas that were most affected was the agrarian economy. Sincethe system needed high labor, it forcedthe use of It interfered with the social structure, and therefore the maintenance of agriculturalsystem became difficult .latter, the deathlead to several innovations e, especially in the field of agriculture which started to use simple machines to replace the human labor which had been   lost (Herlihy,  1997).The low supply of work made it necessary for the laborers to be incognito of the wages. Therefore t making the political concept on the labor suppliesin the region an essential matter for the European continent.The end of the Black Death a led to the death of major commercial activities in Europe.

Based on the analysis of the informationanalysis of the effect on the culture of the communities of Europe, there is a definite factorthat needs to be understood on the impact on plague and diseases thataffect a country. In this case, the man realized that the religioncould never solve all problemssuch as diseases; therefore Europe had to wake up and startresearching the conditions and other issues that arise in the human society.

In conclusion the Black Death is a reminder of the economic and social impact of the plague that   made man to understand the structure of the community. The economic impacts based on a clear understanding of the struggle of man give an insight of the need for the society to be prepared to deal with the various disasters that took place in the history of the  European continent.
