The issue involves ending the life of a very sick patient intentionally, to ease their pain. A person must be suffering from an incurable disease to administer euthanasia. The doctors can either withdraw or stop giving patients something, which keeps them alive or do something, with the aim of making the patient die. Doctors carry out euthanasia through the request of patients themselves or the caregivers in case the patient does not have the strength to talk or make a decision. The issue falls in the category of bioethics because it is a modern discovery in biology and health. Also, it results in many ethical questions both in the medical profession and society leading to a dilemma. Before the parties administer it, they follow a series of questions to determine whether it is morally right.
One argument supporting the issue is that the patients will finally die because the disease is incurable and therefore, there is no need for them to suffer out of pain and the family spends much money. Those who argue against the topic points on a religious belief that no human being is allowed to kill another. There might be a controversy because of two opposing sides between the medical profession and the laws of a state. Laws of different countries do not allow killing at of an innocent person while the medical profession allows it with some conditions.
