Introduction
A world view is the fundamental cognitive orientation of a person or a society consisting of the whole individual’s or society’s knowledge and point of view. The Biblical worldview, on the other hand, is based on the framework of beliefs of an individual and how they interpret the world and interacts with it. In Genesis 1:27, we see “So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female” (Version, 2017). We all know that God is loving and compassionate. Therefore, being created in his own image and likeness, we should also be loving, compassionate, truthful and honest just like our God. With the trust that I have in God, I hope that through prayer and his blessing, I will be able to finish my education safely and with a graduate Bachelor. For me to be successful in everything that I do, I will always treat people with honesty and trust just as I would want to be treated.
1st example from the gospel
From my worldview, I have an obligation to love one another because God is love. In 1 John 4:8, we see that “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (Version, 2017). After finishing school, I plan to start my sneaker store, in my business I know I will meet different kinds of people, some are loving, and others don’t love me. I have to show all my colleagues and customers love because that what God requires of us. Maltreating other people and speaking nastily to them just as some people are doing across the globe today comes from hate and not love. God is love and not hate. In John 3:16 we see that “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (Version, 2017). This means that God cares for humanity and we should always follow his footsteps by loving one another.
2nd example from the gospel
From my world view, I have an obligation to avoid judging other people but also to discern and judge what is right. In Mathew 7:1-2, we see that “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Version, 2017). In the world today, some people judge others because they don’t share the same belief; this is bad, and it’s against God’s commands. Some individuals also judge others falsely for the wrong that they have not done; we should always avoid this and let God himself judge us. This judgment has also divided the people across the globe because some people feel that they serve a better God than others, but in real sense we all serve one mighty God in heaven. James 4:12 says that “There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?” (Version, 2017). We should, therefore, avoid judging other people.
Conclusion
Furthermore, I believe that Christianity and the degree of choice should be closely related. People should always maintain a close relationship with God just as they keep their relationship with their careers. We should still read his word and understand the guidelines that he has set in place for us. All Individuals across the world should always love and stop judging one another. We should always live in a way that pleases the Lord.
