Pre-Christian spirituality is a system where people believed in the existence of the supernatural being.  They strongly knew that nothing comes into being without the involvement of this supernatural being.  He was the controller, administrator, organizer and planner of everything that happened to place. However, the beliefs on the supernatural beings varied from one community to another as they believed and embraced different symbols. They held different beliefs in search for the meaning of life. On the other hand, ancient artistry was represented in architecture, sculpture, painting, literature, music and film. Religion and art in ancient times were inseparable.  Different arts were used to represent different religious inspiration and motifs for the peoples (Sayre, 2016).  For instance, different symbols were used by different communities to represent different gods for the people. Additionally, religious symbols and arts varied from one religion to another.  For instance, the crescent and star symbol is used by Islamic people, menorah by Judaists and the inchthys by the Christians.

Leonardo contributed immensely in multiple fields such as in architecture, sculpture, music, anatomy, engineering among other fields. Leonardo artistry and symbols presented religious narratives in an outstanding way hence humanized secular. On the other hand, Michelangelo artistry skills are well represented in the field of anatomy.  Here his artistry skills were much intended to mimic classical Greek sculpture(Sayre, 2016).  Albrecht Dürer also is remembered in the art as an outstanding painter, printmaker and a theorist. The Triumphal Arch is the significant and most substantial print he ever produced. Dürer premeditated individual scenes and architectural basics.  Raphael on the other hand in praised during the Renaissance as a painter for almost five centuries now. His works are much exceptional and stand out of the rest in style and the methods he used (Adams, 2018).  Therefore, all the great heroes in artistry differ in form and the specialty they used to represent their art.

The Baroque period in the art can be characterized by the great exaggerations of motion and explicit details employed in the production of drama, exuberance and the exceptional grandeur contained in sculpture, painting, architecture, dance and music.  The Baroque technique uses both light and dark interplays to produce high contrast symbols and arts. The artists primarily on their works natural forms, spaces, colours, lights and worked to improve the relationship between the observer and the portrait hence aiming to produce a strong natural expressive and emotional lure from the observers (Adams, 2018).

Renaissance and the Romanic era have a significant influence in today way of life especially in the printing of magazines. Our today print media borrows heavily from the renaissance period standard of artistry to perfect their works.  As such, the contemporary world art is directly linked to the past periods. For instance, drawings, painting and statues were discovered during those times.  Mostly in our today magazines, pictures are well articulated utilizing both light and dark intertwine to win the emotional and psychological perspective of the views.  Different colours and skills are employed.  In television commercials and advertisements, these skills are highly applied.  For instance, for the advert to win the viewers’ attention, they are well articulated, planned and organized.  The adverts use different colours available for decorations hence achieving the ultimate beautification objectively to lure more viewers.
