The final essay is an amplified and elaborate version of the proposal. Exceptionally, the student can write the final on a different question than the one addressed in the proposal. The best template will be to select a cultural product and analyze it, with reference to the abstraction of modernity vs. tradition & Arabness vs. Arabism.
Do not hesitate to request for the professor’s suggestions, in case you are short of ideas.
The last assignment must show evidence of work on at least three sources: academic articles or books from outside the course kit.
